Hello, my name is Jeff Bull, I own, run and am Jeff’s Driver Training (JDT).
I have been an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) since 2017. Although I initially trained with a national driving school I am now completely independent. Here I am in Malvern where I am based with the two school cars, on the left is the automatic and on the right is the manual. You can find out more about these on the School Cars page.
Throughout my previous careers the common theme was me working closely with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and of all ages. This enabled me to develop my interpersonal skills, which is extremely important as good clear communication is an essential quality for me to now possess as an ADI.
Sitting in the confined space of the car it is important we get on together and you enjoy your time with me. Learning to drive safely for life is a very serious goal, but can still be fun. Even whilst maintaining a professional approach, using the right methods, it is still possible to have a lot of laughs along the way.
I really enjoy teaching, whether taking new pupils from scratch to test standard, or helping full licence holders improve their driving skills. I take great pride in the results my pupils achieve. Whilst their pass rate is extremely high, perhaps even more importantly, their average number of driving errors on test is low.

When not working one of my great passions is riding motorbikes. My current bike pictured is a 1989 Honda VFR750FK which I have owned and ridden since it was nearly new.
I started my two wheel journey in 1977 on this bright yellow Yamaha FS1E DX 50cc 2 stroke ‘sports moped’ otherwise known as a ‘fizzy’.
The following year when I reached 17 I splashed out £469 on a brand new black Honda CB125T, a 125cc four stroke twin on which I passed my full motorcycle test in March 1979.
Several bikes later and aged just 19 I had progressed to my dream bike at that time, a classic 800cc Prussion blue ‘Boxer’ in the form of a BMW R80RS.

I still rode bikes, but passed the driving test in 1982 and bought my first car a Vauxhall Chevette in a ‘lovely’ shade of green named Ralph (ask me about that one day!). Contact me today at Jeff’s Driver Training.
