Whilst these might not make for the most exciting reading, they are important as they provide a framework within which we can work together in order to best facilitate your learning.
I have responsibilities to you as a pupil, but equally you as the pupil also have responsibilities, and these are collectively described in the terms & conditions.
During the initial exchange of messages that will take place when lessons are first arranged, I will ask you to confirm that you have read and accept the terms & conditions.
A brief summary will now follow to encompass the main points. If we have agreed you will start lessons with me, please still open and read the full document.
Before you start lessons, I will need some information from you, not least to enable me to check your driving licence, equally you may wish to check my details on the DVSA register.
If there is anything you feel I should know which could help me facilitate your learning please do not hesitate to disclose this. All information is treated in the strictest of confidence.
Please communicate in a timely manner as this helps me to plan my diary and ensure that you along with everyone else can be given appropriate lesson slots.
Please be available for lessons on time, and in a fit state. Please also give me plenty of notice if you should need to cancel or change your lesson so that slots are not wasted.
I will normally book your test and make any changes to the booking for you to ensure it is at a mutually convenient time, and for when you have reached the required standard.
You will not be allowed use of my car for test unless I consider you have reached the required standard. If you do, and achieve a good pass (point 19) you will be rewarded with money!
There is also money or free lesson time (point 20) if you refer someone to me who ends up having lessons. If satisfied with my teaching, I also ask you to please leave a positive review.
Finally, as you can imagine, there is a considerable amount of information about what we both need to do to ensure the car remains as ‘Covid Secure’ as is possible, so please read it.
